GASTONIA, N.C. -- It served the community for more than 40 years, but now one Gastonia restaurant is out of business because it didn't pay its taxes.

The North Carolina Department of Revenue closed Tommy's Drive-In near Gaston College.

The Gaston Gazette reported the restaurant failed to pay sales and payroll taxes.

Aunt Bessie's Home Cookin’, It's Grill and Village Video in Lincolnton were also closed for similar reasons.
