HICKORY, N.C. -- Hickory police are looking for man who punched a 71-year-old woman in the face during a home invasion on Monday.
The victim told police she saw a grey van in her driveway when she came home around 11:15 a.m. Monday morning.
When she went inside, she said a man hit her in the face so hard that she flew into a kitchen shelf, then hit the floor.
The victim said the man was wearing a navy blue shirt, a navy blue hat and jeans. He was in his 20s or 30s, about six feet tall with a muscular build and dreadlocks.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for her injuries.
