MATTHEWS, N.C. -- A woman in Matthews is without a home after a fire Sunday afternoon.
The home, in the 2700 block of Phillips Woods Lane, is a total loss.
The woman told authorities she left for work, and that's when the fire must've started.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
