ROCK HILL, S.C. -- A new breakfast bakery is opening its doors in Rock Hill, and some residents are so excited they've set-up camp to be the first ones in the door.
The 'Hot Light' goes on at 6 a.m. Tuesday for the first time at Krispy Kreme in Rock Hill.
The Krispy Kreme Doughnut Factory, located at 1525 Celanese Boulevard, will hand out commemorative t-shirts and tasty treats to the first 100 patrons on Tuesday morning.
"We are extremely excited to bring our delicious variety of one-of-a-kind sweet treats and complementary beverages to our Rock Hill area doughnut fans," says Cindy Bay, SVP of US Franchises and Company Stores for Krispy Kreme.
Krispy Kreme says the first customer in line will receive a free dozen of their Original Glazed every week for a year. Customers two through 99 receive a free dozen every month for a year.
Krispy Kreme's normal business hours will be Monday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The business will also host a ribbon-cutting Tuesday at 11 a.m.
