ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Two inmates escaped a security facility in Rock Hill around noon Friday but were found a short time later, according to officials.
Joshua Lee Fowler, 25, and Anthony Lago, 24, were at the Catawba Pre-Release Center, a minimum level security facility, when they escaped.
Lago was behind bars for breaking into a motor vehicle while Fowler had been serving a four-year shoplifting sentence from Spartanburg.
Both men were found a few miles from the facility a short time later, according to the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
