ROCK HILL, S.C. – Police are looking for a man who robbed a Rock Hill hotel by gunpoint this weekend.

The incident took place at the Microtel Inn & Suites on Riverview Road Sunday night.  A white man wearing a khaki hat with a blue hooded jacket walked in and asked for the daily rates before threatening the hotel clerk, according to Rock Hill police.

The clerk gave the man $232 and then ran from the hotel.

Police continue to investigate and hope surveillance video from the hotel will help find the man.

The suspect is between 30 and 40 years old, about five-feet, six-inches tall and was also wearing flip flops, police said.
