ROCK HILL, S.C. -- City leaders in Rock Hill are taking up a re-zoning matter that could affect bargain shoppers.
City Council is discussing a request to re-zone 40 acres at the corner of Dave Lyle Boulevard and Red River Road east of the Rock Hill Galleria.
Eight acres of the site are being developed for an academy sports store scheduled to open in February.
According to our partners at The Charlotte Observer, the remaining land could be used for a Sam's Club, but the developer has yet to say for sure.
