ROCK HILL, S.C. – ROCK HILL, S.C. – A man accused of robbing a Rock Hill pharmacy has been arrested

Rock Hill Police say a man entered the CVS in the 600 block of North Cherry Road around 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect, 34-year-old Jason Lloyd Thatcher, turned himself into authorities Thursday afternoon. He was booked into Rock Hill city jail.

Thatcher allegedly walked to the pharmacy, presented the pharmacist a note stating he was robbing them, and implying he was carrying a weapon, although no weapon was presented, police say.

The pharmacist gave the suspect an undisclosed type and amount of drugs in a paper bag.
