2 stabbed during fight at south Charlotte restaurant

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two people were stabbed inside a pizza grill in south Charlotte early Wednesday morning.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were called to Carmella's Pizza Grill on South Tryon around 1 a.m. after two people were stabbed during a fight.

The two victims were taken to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to Medic.

Police arrested one person during the incident.  Police also said the people involved had been drinking.

Authorities have not released the identity of the victims or suspect involved.
