CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A bomb scare forced police to shut down a section of South Boulevard early Monday morning.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers responded to Greystone Restaurant at about 1 a.m. Monday, where a suspicious device was found outside.

Investigators disassembled the device and found that it was not a bomb.

No one was injured.
