CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Cantina 1511 will remain closed this week while crews work to repair damage caused by a tree that fell on the restaurant Friday.
No one was injured when the tree fell at about 4:30 p.m. Friday.
"We are very fortunate that no one was hurt when the tree fell on the East Boulevard location of Cantina 1511," owner Frank Scibelli said in a news release. "The safety of our staff and customers is our number one priority, and we have crews working hard toward our re-opening."
The restaurant expects to reopen at the end of the week.
