CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have arrested a second man in connection to the murder of a 17-year-old found dead on a front lawn.
Wednesday, homicide detectives arrested 20-year-old Nicholas Eshaad Wright and charged him with the murder of Aerial Patterson. He was also charged with armed robbery.
Sunday police arrested 23-year-old Eddie Yannick Doh in the murder.
Steele Creek Division officers responded to a medic call for service at 3:45 Saturday morning on Arbroath Court and found a female victim lying in the front yard suffering from fatal injuries.
The body was identified as Patterson. Ironically, the arrest came on the same day as Doh’s birthday.
According to law enforcement, Patterson was dropped off at the Arbroath address by a friend to meet an unknown subject on Friday through a pre-arrangement. When the friend came back to pick up Patterson, she was discovered deceased in the yard.
Doh is charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon, he’s being held at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
Doh has a lengthy criminal history that includes drug possession and multiple charges for assault on a female.
