CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte police arrested a man in Oklahoma on Thursday who allegedly robbed a bank in the University Area Tuesday afternoon.

Todd Montgomery Foreman, 32, was arrested in Oklahoma Thursday morning.  Police said Foreman gave a teller at the Wells Fargo bank in northeast Charlotte a hold-up note and left the bank with cash around 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The bank is located at 8700 JM Keynes Drive near the intersection of North Tryon Street and West W.T. Harris Boulevard just west of UNC Charlotte.

Police say help from the public led to the arrest and Foreman will be extradited back to Charlotte.
