CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are warning residents in the University City Division to be on the lookout for suspicious activity.
Police say the area has seen a rise in car break-ins this week.
A NewsChannel 36 viewer reported that 12-14 cars were broken into Tuesday night in the Kelsey Glen neighborhood off Hubbard Road.
Police say residents should be sure to remove valuables from their cars and always lock your car doors.
