CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- One of rock music’s biggest stars is coming to uptown Charlotte for a performance that promises to be "Nothin' but a Good Time."
Bret Michaels, lead vocalist of Poison and reality television personality, will appear at one of uptown Charlotte’s hottest nightspots as VH1 presents the Bret Michaels Custom Built Tour 2010 on Wednesday night, November 24 at Whisky River.
For nearly 25 years, Bret Michaels has entertained fans both on stage and on the screen. Michaels is perhaps best known as front man for glam rock back Poison, who produced three multi-platinum albums in the 1980s and early 1990s. In addition, Michaels has release three solo albums, including 2010’s Custom Built, which peaked at No. 1 on both the Billboard Independent Album and Hard Rock Album charts.
Michaels has also enjoyed success over the years as a reality television personality appearing on VH1’s “Rock of Love” and the new series “Bret Michaels: Life as I Know It,” which premiered on October 18 and currently airs Monday nights at 10 p.m. on VH1. Michaels also gained attention for winning “Celebrity Apprentice 3” in May.
Tickets for the VH1 Bret Michaels Custom Built Tour stop at Whisky River are $30 and available now online at WhiskyRiverCharlotte.com. Doors will open at 5 p.m. on November 24; this is a 21-and-up event.
