CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Democratic National Convention committee announced people can now sign up to volunteer when President Obama delivers his nomination speech at Bank of America Stadium this fall.
The President is expected to accept the Democratic Party’s nomination on September 6 to cap the DNC, and those wishing to volunteer for the event can now register online.
The shift will be handed out as people sign up, and volunteer coordinators are expected to be in contact with folks within the next two weeks. Volunteers are asked to sign up for two preferred shift times.
“Our success depends on involving as many Americans as possible, engaging the grassroots and enlisting people who want to put their shoulder to the wheel and change our country for the better,” the DNC said on its official website.
