CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A dedication ceremony to honor emergency and public service staff and volunteers will be held on Saturday, August 6 in Waxhaw.
The Town of Waxhaw and the Waxhaw Beautification Committee will begin the program at 10 a.m. at North Main Street near Jackson Street.
Mayor Daune Gardner and Town Manager Michael McLaurin are among those who will speak during the ceremony showcasing and dedicating artwork for the city.
Light refreshments will be served after the ceremony. Parking is available at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church. The rain date is Sunday, August 7 at 3 p.m. Those interested can RSVP by July 29 to firstname.lastname@example.org or 704-843-2195 ext. 222.
