MONROE, N.C. -- A Waxhaw police sergeant is facing drunk-driving charges after being arrested early Wednesday morning.
According to Monroe police, 49-year-old Richard Wallace was pulled over just before 3 a.m. on West Sunset Drive.
Wallace was charged with driving while impaired, driving left of center, having a fictitious or expired registration plate and expired inspection, according to the police report.
The Waxhaw Police Department has not said if any actions have been taken against Wallace.
