CHARLOTTE, N.C. –- A familiar face was in Charlotte on Sunday to host the Women Vote 2012 Summit.
Actress and political activist, Ashley Judd, made a special appearance at the Central Piedmont Community College encouraging women to vote.
Judd took the podium and declared, "I'm Ashley Judd, and I'm a woman for Obama."
The Summit Tour, organized by President Obama’s campaign, brings together senior campaign officials and community leaders to talk about the upcoming election year.
The First Lady of Charlotte, Samara Foxx, was also in attendance.
