CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Democrat Larry Kissel told seniors he would keep the commitments of Social Security and Medicare and make no changes while 8th Congressional District Republican opponent Richard Hudson said the systems have to be reformed or they'll go broke.

But during a debate Monday afternoon at Wingate University, Hudson did not give an exact age for retirees to be eligible for Social Security

And neither man could agree on representative castles record on the affordable care act known as Obama care.

One thing you can say about these debates—they are a lot more civil than the political ads.
