RALEIGH, N.C. -- State lawmakers want to clean up the meth problem in North Carolina.

On Wednesday a house select committee met in Raleigh to get the ball rolling on possible new legislation.

NewsChannel 36 anchor Dave Wagner was called to testify after his report that showed the lingering effects of meth labs in the Charlotte area.

"When I saw your initial report, it was like a bell went off.  I went to the speaker (Thom Tillis)," said Representative Craig Horn, the Chair of the House Committe on meth labs.
