CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Craig Romney was in south Charlotte knocking on a few doors to secure votes for his father.

Craig joined forces with some Romney volunteers who were also going from door to door.

At least one registered voter said Craig's visit to his front door wasn't the deciding factor.

"I told him that we're undecided and waiting to hear the debates." said Brian Jones. "I don't know that there was anything that he could've said that would've had a big influence on my vote, nothing personal against him," said Jones.

Craig was also in town for a Hispanic dialogue event at the Morrison Regional Library with former Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez and Rachel Campos-Duffy.

According to campaign officials, Craig's next stop is in Gastonia.
