RALEIGH, N.C. -- A forthright North Carolina girl is determined to meet Gov. Pat McCrory, and she’s taken to the internet to make it happen.

Madison Kimrey, who says she’s one of the Moral Monday crowd in Raleigh, is asking the governor for a discussion regarding the new voting legislation in the state.

Madison says she’s reached out to Gov. McCrory previously in vain. In a video posted to YouTube, the young activist invites him to Bicentennial Mall in Raleigh on Thursday to chat. She even baked a pound cake for the occasion.

Madison also started a petition on MoveOn.org to bring attention to her goal of meeting the governor. It has thousands of signatures.
