Publix crew saves customer's life

Workers at Florida grocery store spring into action when customer suffers heart attack.

(SNN)  Employees at a Sarasota, Fla. Publix are being credited with saving a customer's life.

Janet Guttridge collapsed last week while grocery shopping.

A customer service staff member rushed to Janet's side, checking her pulse after he saw blood all over the floor.

Then Publix pharmacy technician Sarah Fountain confirmed the woman wasn't breathing and started CPR.

Within moments, the grocery manager brought over an automatic emergency defibrillator, and with the help of a customer and the pharmacy tech, was able to start the device.
