LONGS, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say a 63-year-old man has died after a fire at a Horry County home.
Investigators said Robert Helmick was found inside after firefighters responded to the blaze around 9:30 p.m. in Longs.
Helmick was declared dead outside the home. Authorities say he died from smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
