HICKORY, N.C. – A woman was flown to Carolinas Medical Center after her car ran off the road on Highway 321 near Clement Boulevard just before 1 p.m. Tuesday.
There was construction going on along that stretch of roadway when a Toyota Corolla ran off the road.
From there the car hit a drainage ditch and the car flipped several times.
So far, no word on the condition of those involved in the accident.
