WALHALLA, S.C. (AP) -- Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis says autopsies have been completed on the bodies of two women found dead in Westminster last week.
Addis said Sunday that 82-year-old Clarine Smith of Westminster died from a blow to the head. Addis says the autopsy determined that Smith's niece, 63-year-old Sandra Myers of Seneca, died from a stab wound to the chest.
Addis says Myers was visiting her aunt when the women were killed Friday afternoon.
Sheriff's Capt. Travis Tilton says an 86-year-old man who lived with Smith is charged with two counts of murder. Nicholas Bonelli was found with cuts and stab wounds that appeared to be self-inflicted. He was treated at a Greenville hospital and is in the Oconee County jail. It was not clear if he has an attorney.
