CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Labor Day “Booze It and Lose It” campaign kicks off Friday in North Carolina.
Law enforcement officers across the state will be out in full force to cite drunk drivers.
Almost 11,000 alcohol-related crashes happen in North Carolina last year, the Department of Transportation says. It adds men 18 to 34 are most likely to be offenders.
The campaign runs from Aug. 16 through Labor Day on Sept. 2.
