Parents should pick up their children at Hillcrest and Market Street.

Police say the city-owned truck and a Honda Civic collided on Friendly Avenue. The truck ran through the parking lot and slammed into the kitchen of the building.

EMS took the driver and passenger in the truck to the hospital for minor injuries. Neither the driver or passenger in the Civic were hurt.

Piedmont Natural Gas, Duke Energy and city workers are inspecting the building.

No charges have been filed against the driver at this time.
