COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Gov. Nikki Haley's mother remains hospitalized in Columbia.
 
The reason for Raj Randhawa's admission to Palmetto Health Richland hospital Monday night was not released. There was still no word on her condition.
 
Haley canceled her public appearances on Tuesday.
 
Spokesman Rob Godfrey says Haley is canceling Wednesday events as well to spend time with her mother. He says Haley is grateful for the outpouring of well wishes and regrets having to adjust her schedule again.
