GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- A Greenville man has been arrested and accused of ramming a car into a church.

Greenville police spokesman Jonathan Bragg says no one was hurt when Little Zion Baptist Church was hit around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

Bragg says 39-year-old John David Griffith III is charged with malicious damage greater than $10,000.

Griffith was not at the church when police arrived. But he returned while the officers were investigating.

It was not clear if Griffith has a lawyer.
