CAMDEN, S.C. (AP) -- A Kershaw County school board member has died after a wreck.
Forty-six-year-old Joey Dorton died when he ran off a road near Lake Wateree and hit a tree around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
The Highway Patrol says Dorton's car was engulfed in flames after the impact.
He died at the scene.
Coroner Johnny Fellers says an autopsy was being performed.
