LUMBERTON, N.C. (AP) -- Authorities say a Lumberton police officer has been shot at a gas station.
Investigators said the shooting happened Tuesday morning.
Police are still gathering information about what the officer was doing at the station, whether he was on duty and his condition. They also have not released whether they have a suspect in the shooting.
The State Bureau of Investigation is helping the Lumberton Police and Robeson County Sheriff's Office in the investigation.
