CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- A man who admitted he stabbed a store employee to death in Mount Pleasant more than a year ago will spend 25 years in prison.
Nineteen-year-old Darius Green pleaded guilty Monday to voluntary manslaughter.
Twenty-year-old David Moultrie was stabbed to death in front of the Walmart where he worked in September 2011.
Green had been charged with murder but reached a plea agreement with prosecutors.
Green refused to say why he stabbed Moultrie.
One of Green's lawyers, Ted Smith, said the stabbing stemmed from a disagreement about a woman.
