JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- Authorities in Jacksonville say the deaths of two people are being investigated as a homicide and suicide.
Police were called to a home early Tuesday afternoon and found the bodies inside. They responded after getting a call from a relative of those who lived there.
Police have not released the cause of death. The names of the two are not being released until relatives are notified.
Both vehicles parked outside the residence had Camp Lejeune base decals. Authorities say the Naval Criminal Investigative Service is involved in the investigation.
