WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -- A woman has settled a lawsuit with some defendants in the death of a Davidson County teen who died after a man threw a rock through a windshield.
The Winston-Salem Journal reported that Lisa Hill Chisom has settled with most of the defendants.
Shelby Chisom died from internal bleeding after a man threw a paving stone through the windshield after a graduation party on Aug. 6, 2010.
The case is still pending against Michael John Craver, who pleaded guilty to second degree murder and was sentenced to about 14 years in prison.
The lawsuit is pending against Katherine Pritchard and her son, John Tyler Pritchard. Lisa Chisom said the Pritchards bought the alcohol for the party.
The lawsuit had also named seven teens at the party.
