Former South Carolina governor Mark Sanford may get a second chance at politics.
Voters in South Carolina's 1st U.S. House district will have to vote again.
Sanford got 36-percent of the Tuesday's primary vote for the republican nomination-- but that's not enough to win.
The race will go to a runoff, but it’s too close right now to tell who he will face on April 2.
The winner will face democrat Elizabeth Colbert-Busch, the sister of comedian Steven Colbert. She easily won her party's nomination.
