NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- The license suspension for North Myrtle Beach Rep. Tracy Edge has been lifted.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports ( http://bit.ly/PQDdjZ ) that Edge was arrested and charged with driving under suspension last week in North Myrtle Beach and given a warning for driving left of the center line.
Department of Motor Vehicle records show Edge had his license suspended Sept. 13 because he failed to pay an earlier speeding ticket. Edge said he had taken care of the fine three days before his arrest, paying the ticket and a reinstatement fee but a computer lag meant the reinstatement was not immediate.
The 45-year-old Republican is seeking re-election to the House next month.
