EASLEY, S.C. (AP) -- Charleston County deputies are heading to the Upstate to help private searchers look for a missing Charleston mother.
Investigators will search in Easley on Saturday for Gayle McCaffrey, who hasn't been seen since March 17.
McCaffrey's husband reported her missing the next day. Deputies say he told them he argued with his wife, drove to Easley to clear his head, then headed right back to Charleston, where he discovered her missing.
Investigators say they don't have any specific evidence leading to the search, but they wanted to help out the private CUE center, which uses volunteers to do their own searches for missing people.
