DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. -- Crews from the North Carolina Department of Transportation have opened all lanes of Interstate 85 in Davidson County after a tractor-trailer wreck Tuesday morning.
The accident happened on I-85 north at the U.S. 64 exit near Thomasville around 6 a.m.
Officials from NCDOT said the tractor-trailer was carrying hazardous fertilizer material when it flipped over on I-85 around 6 a.m.
The driver has been transported to a local hospital for evaluation. There were no other injuries related to this incident.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
