SALISBURY, N.C. (AP) -- A company that put up billboards featuring a missing North Carolina teen is adding more signs to the efforts to find her.

The Salisbury Post reported that Adams Outdoor Advertising is putting up four more signs to help in the effort to find Erica Lynn Parsons.

The 15-year-old girl has been missing for nearly two years, but she was reported missing little more than a month ago.

Her adoptive parents, Sandy and Casey Parsons, have said they let her stay with her biological grandmother, Irene Goodman, in Asheville. Investigators have been unable to verify that Irene Goodman exists.

Police have said the adoptive parents have become less cooperative.

The company initially put up billboards late last month. The news signs are on Intersates 77 and 485.
