SALISBURY, N.C. -- Law enforcement officers briefly stopped at the Parsonses’ Salisbury home Friday afternoon, but wouldn’t say what for.

Three cars arrived at the family home just after 3 p.m. It’s not clear what agency they were from, and they did not stay in the home longer than 10 minutes.

NBC Charlotte reporter Tony Burbeck says they were carrying a folder and appeared to be delivering some paperwork.

The county clerk does say there have not been any new warrants filed.

At the same time, the neighborhood is preparing for a vigil tonight for missing teen Erica Parsons. It’s scheduled to start tonight at 8 p.m. on Miller Chapel Road.

The Rowan Co. Sheriff’s Office announced Friday that law enforcement agencies are launching new efforts to find the girl. Starting Monday, billboards featuring the age progression photo of Erica will go up around the Charlotte area.
