Disney's superhero sequel, starring Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman, earned $85.7 million when it opened domestically. It knocked last weekend's winner, Lionsgate's "Ender's Game," down to fifth. Box office numbers show "Bad Grandpa" in the number-two spot for the second weekend in a row with $11.3 million. "Free Birds" and "Last Vegas" are in third- and fourth-place.
