The standout among Orpheus' signature floats has to be the Leviathan, which has been part of the parade since 1998. It's a three unit float coming in at more than 130 feet long. According to the krewe, the float depicting a smoke-breathing sea serpent was also the first Carnival float to use extensive fiber optic lighting. Don't forget to catch the little mini-Leviathan rolling behind. The little guy is really a dressed-up generator, powering the millions of lights on the main float.
