Local pet lovers gathered at the San Antonio Pet Expo held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Freeman Coliseum's Expo Hall. According to Brook Beck with Paws of Texas Rescue, Allen the dog trainer from SA Superior K-9s set a record by clipping nails of over 265 dogs in one day. Shelters like Scurvy Dog Rescue made adoption easy. The expo also included low-cost vaccinations, entertainment, pet health awareness booths, agility demos and a pet costume contest.
