The new breed arrives

In a rookie draft class that could end up rivaling the storied one from 1983, Stanford’s Andrew Luck and Baylor’s Robert Griffin III were taken with the top two picks in the NFL Draft on April 26. The signal callers have paid immediate dividends already for Indianapolis and Washington respectively. They would be two of the record five rookies to start the season at quarterback in 2012.
