RIHANNA/JUSTIN BIEBER: FTC FINES WARNER OVER SINGERS WEB SITES
NEW YORK (AP) -- Got a young fan of Rihanna and Justin Bieber (BEE'-ber) at home? The Federal Trade Commission says they may have been done wrong if they logged on to a fan Web site for one of those artists. The FTC is proposing to fine Warner Music Group $1 million for breaking child privacy laws. The agency says the operator of the web site collected personal details like names, email addresses, street addresses and cellphone numbers of more than 100,000 children aged 12 or younger. Those actions violate the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
