UNDATED (AP) -- It was 50 years ago today that we first heard Sean Connery introduce himself as "Bond, James Bond." It was in "Dr. No," the first of more than 20 Bond films. Connery was the first of six actors to play the role. The latest is Daniel Craig, who'll star in his third Bond movie, "Skyfall," next month. Roger Moore played Bond seven times, more than any other actor. He says the secret to Bond's longevity is that people like the familiar. He says " it's sort of like a bedtime story: As long as you don't go too far away from the original, the child is happy."
