CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A serious wreck has brought Interstate 485 in Pineville to a halt during rush hour Friday evening.
One of two lanes are closed due to the innerloop accident near the South Boulevard intersection as of 5:40 p.m. The outerloop is backed up to Interstate 77 as well.
One person was taken to a nearby hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries due to the accident, according to Medic.
