SALISBURY, N.C. – A bomb squad is on scene at a Salisbury neighborhood Friday afternoon.
The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what they say could be a bomb, which was discovered around 1:40 p.m. on South Church Street.
A man bought a container from a recycling plant and when he came home he discovered something inside that looked like a grenade with wires, officials said.
The entire street has been evacuated, but there are no reported injuries at this time.
